fourth project in my Illustration class. XD;; The assignment was to create a comic book character. So I created him.

His name is Akito Nakamura. He's from a family whos very rich they're also part of the Japanese Mafia. He ended up inheriting his grandfathers Casinos and night clubs in Las Vegas. He moved to Las Vegas but travels back and forth from Japan dealing with buisness for the family as well as the buisnesses he now owns and runs.

He's arrogant, tough and he's a very dangerous person both normally and temper wise.

I did it in black and white because I had to. XD;;; I actually messed up though because we were suppose to apply the ink washes first before we inked it in. I actually inked it in with a pen and then I applied the ink washes which proved bad because the ink ran even though I let it dry over the weekend. XD;;; So after applying the ink washes very carefully to keep the ink from bleeding as much as possible. after that I used my india ink pen and applied pure india ink for Akito so he stood out from the background as best as I could as well as the stools (which turned out like crap) and the bottles.

The background didnt turn out quite the way I pictured it in my head but I guess its not too bad. I really like how Akito turned out though. I think thats the part I love the most. XD;;; But I guess I did something right if my teacher liked it. XD;;
