Before I go onto my long ass rant. Please be kind in critiqueing this. Its taken me 18 weeks to complete all three pages including the cover and while I know there are things that I can work on, considering my final is next week this is about the best that I can do without completely going crazy.
That said, this is page one of the three pages that I had to work on for my project. The pages are from the series that I have been working on since 2003 I think. The series for those who havent followed my work is called La Ville Oubliee. And these particular three pages are from the end of Chapter 4 of the novel that I posted a few years ago. So yay, I'm not actually spoiling too much. XD;;
Anyway I did the three pages buy sketching it out on Bristol paper and then scanned in the pages and inked them in. Then for me, because I cant shade hair worth crap on the computer in black and white I printed out every panel and colored in the hair, scanned those back in and then cut and pasted everything back together where I went back in and toned what needed to be toned. Armel the other guy eallair is talking to is a ghost so thats why I did very little toning on him. I wanted it where he looked like alive but at the same time you can tell there's something not right about him.
